For many months now, we have been actively seeking God and considering what He may have in store for us in the future. Recently, on our vacation, we set aside time to wait upon God. He has been pouring vision and excitement into our spirits more than at any other time that I can remember. I believe God is calling me to a fulfillment of my calling as a teacher/mentor.
He has prepared me through my experiences as a teacher at PBC for 13 years and then as a pastor/mentor at LHF for 12 years. I have taught worship seminars and conferences in 18 nations and throughout the US. Prophetically, God has repeatedly called me to His church in many nations. I believe that God has given me a term to describe what He is doing in my life: I am a worship missionary.
I have secured the name: Worship Without Borders. The purpose of this ministry will be to stir up passion for Jesus and equip worshipers, worship leaders and pastors across international and denominational borders. I am developing worship seminars, conferences, clinics and workshops to teach and train. I am so excited also because Maryl will be able to join me in this ministry since she is on a planned sabbatical from her midwifery (except for repeat clients in the church).
In order to be obedient to God’s call on my life, I have resigned my present pastoral staff postion at LHF as of November 11th. However, we plan to continue to fellowship at Living Hope.
If you have any questions about what we are doing, feel free to ask.
I love all of you and I look forward to many more times of worship with all my friends. May God bless you richly in His sweet presence.
