Tim and Maryl had a wonderful time of ministry with two churches on Sunday, August 17th: Living Way Fellowship in Sandy, Oregon (in the AM) and New Wine Christian Fellowship in Clackamas, Oregon (in the PM). Both congregations were so responsive to the obvious presence of Jesus in both services. In the morning, the Living Way folks lined the altar singing their own songs of deliverance, victory and faith. Pastor Maurice Grevens, the worship pastor, is doing a great job of releasing worship filled with grace and faith in this congregation. We were privileged to hear all the behind-the-scenes stories of God’s faithfulness and loving guidance in their church.
In the evening, we had a very prophetic 2 1/2 hours with the New Wine folks. Larry Kennedy, a dear friend for over 20 years, leads the worship in this small but vibrant congregation
Their response and obvious passion for Jesus and His presence made it so easy to minister and flow with throughout the night. I had the opportunity to play my cello and new Goodall guitar in both services. What a delight! (more on that later)
We also had the pleasure of two friends joining us on the platform: Carter Cheston on the drums and Scott Bettis on the bass. Thanks guys.
I love how Jesus shows up in large or small congregations, good times or bad, in our strong times or when we are weak. His consistency draws us closer to Him. His kindness leads us to a whole new way of thinking and acting. He is good!
Tim and Maryl Smith, your worship missionaries
