Greetings to our friends and intercessors,

Here at WWOB we have been busy preparing for our first trip to Uganda, December 4-20. Joining Tim and Maryl for these two weeks will be Molly Nixon, a student-nurse at Linfield College. Worship Without Borders is partnering with The Cause (thecause.org) as well as other ministries already established in Uganda. In addition to worship seminars and teaching and preaching the good news of Jesus Christ, we hope to bring in much needed equipment, instruments, Bibles, books and resources for the churches and orphanages.
Brent and Virginia Earwicker
The first week we will be on Bussi Island of Lake Victoria! (there are over 3,000 islands in this huge lake!) Tim’sIsland Ministry School nephew, Brent Earwicker and his wife, Virginia, minister weekly to the pastors, churches and orphanages on this island (and four others) www.pleadthecause.org . He has started a School of Ministry for 40-50 pastors and leaders on Bussi Island, many of whom have never had the privilege of in-depth teaching in the Word. Tim will be teaching on worship at this school. When not at the school, Maryl and Molly will be ministering to the orphans and workers on the island, teachingOsanidde orphans Bible stories and providing health care education, exams and treatment. We want to make this a special, joy-filled experience for these isolated orphans and Osanidde orphans worshipingtheir helpers by providing Christmas gifts and a cow. Many of them have never celebrated Christmas let alone personally experienced the One we celebrate! Help us make this an Island Christmas to remember. Would you pray about how you can be a part of blessing the 160 orphans at Osanidde Orphanage?

The second half of the trip we are excited about joining our friend, Pastor Wilfred Kaweesa at RUN Ministries in Kampala (Run Bible Church). They are planning a Youth Camp as well as a 3-day  area-wide multi-church Worship Conference while we are there. Please be praying for these vital days as we bring the gospel of Jesus Christ through worship, teaching of the word and practical service throughout the area.

What a great opportunity to let His voice be heard! We just couldn’t pass it up and we hope that you feel the same way. This has been a huge faith stretch for us as a new ministry with a very limited financial base (but a big God!). The travel and lodging expenses alone are $4,500 and we are praying for, at minimum, an additional $1,000 to buy gifts for the orphans on the mainland, as well as $1000 for two dairy cows. The amount of equipment, Bibles, books and materials we bring in are limited only by our funds. In addition, while we are there, we are unable to generate income at home. So at these times we really rely on you, our intercessors and supporters.

Would you ask God how you can participate with our outreach to Uganda? In Him,
Tim and Maryl (and Molly)
