Merry Christmas from Worship Without Borders

December 24, 2010

Friends and Fellow-worshipers,

Maryl and I want to send our warmest greetings for a wonderful Christmas and a great New Year – full of the precious promises of our Lord Jesus and the wonder of His love!

Many of you already know that my amazing brother, Pastor Wendell Smith, passed from this earth last Sunday surrounded by family and friends and was ushered into the wonderful presence of his Heavenly Father! Through our tears and sorrow at the loss of our dear brother and friend, we give thanks to God for His great grace and mercy and ultimate healing for Wendell! The Celebration Service in honor of this great servant of God will be January 7 at The City Church in Kirkland @ 6pm. Thank you for your prayers for Gini and the family at this difficult yet victorious time.

We give thanks also for a full year that had some wonderful and fruitful ministry (India, Mexico, Washington DC, and more) and we released our amazing worship resource Piano in Worship DVD/book that is now in 18 nations and 29 states! We have also endured some very trying times with Maryl being diagnosed with cancer, ensuing successful surgery and then a car accident that totaled our car and has her in physical therapy 2 to 3 times a week. Please pray for total restoration of her health as we look to a very busy 2011.

In 2011 we have some major plans already set:

  • January – Guatemala City, Guatemala
  • February – West Palm Beach, Florida
  • March – New Delhi, Lucknow, India
  • April – Anchorage, Alaska
  • August – Kampala, Uganda
  • November – Coimbatore, India
  • see our calendar for more details

Thank you all for your prayers and support. We are sensing His favor, healing and grace in our lives as we continue to facilitate and release worship around the world.
