To our friends and partners in worship!        April 24, 2024

For 18 years Worship Without Borders has touched hundreds of churches, 26 nations on six continents and held hundreds of local church worship seminars. Because of your support, we have seen the power of God touch countless lives as His worship is released in city after city and nation after nation. Your donations helped us fly to India in February for 9 days of teaching and equipping students from all over India. We have been honored to minister in India for 15 years now!

WWOB India Ministry in 2024:

This year in India was especially exciting to have Luke Deese (from Cambodia) and his son, Judah, join us at the International School of Worship for our 15th year of ministry in Ind_a! This school goes for 6 weeks in and I join them in the middle of that time for 9 days with the students. The response of the students was so rewarding as they embraced and engaged in our teaching on spiritual worship! From practical teaching on guitar, keyboards, drums, voice, team-building and songwriting to the spiritual aspects of worship – leading, flowing, spiritual songs and the prophetic perspective! We also get to spend extended times of worship twice each day!

WWOB Ministry In Cali, Colombia

Worship Without Borders returned from our powerful time of ministry in Cali, Colombia! Maryl and I were joined by Bryan Bettis and his son Zayah (from Colorado) for a week of wonderful ministry times in a new church, En Casa, Pastor Peter Wardenaar! We had some amazing sessions in worship and teaching with this young but very talented worship team. 4 churches came together for the Worship Intensive Weekend with about 40 people attending.

We were able to challenge the worship teams beyond playing good sets into flowing prophetically with intentionality. We also had an amazing time releasing them to write their own songs – 12 beautiful songs were started that night. We sealed the week with a great time of worship and ministry on Sunday. We were also able to pray/minister prophetically with many of their leaders. We believe the Holy Spirit established a ‘beachhead’ of prophetic worship and look to return next year for a follow-up seminar. Pastor Peter was thrilled for his team and loved how they were stretched both musically and spiritually.

‘It was so great having Tim and Maryl Smith & Bryan Bettis (and his son, Zayah) from Worship Without Borders with us at Iglesia EnCasa: They truly elevated our worship experience. Their ministry brought us deeper into authentic worship, with solid biblical teaching and practical insights that we could apply right away. Beyond their skills, they are genuine, humble, and truly the real deal. If your church is seeking a fresh, impactful encounter in worship, invite them—you won’t regret it!’ Pastor Peter Wardenaar

If you are looking for a good mission to sow into, consider Iglesia EnCasa in Cali, Colombia – and contact Pastor Peter at: peter.wardenaar@gmail.com A very vibrant and growing community of believers!

Bryan Bettis

Bryan Bettis from Colorado Springs has joined our team as Ministry Development Director and will be joining Maryl and myself in the spring of 2025 in Japan for ministry throughout that great country. We started a new ministry called Summer Worship Camps – 5 days of worship, instruction, inspiration and release of worshipers in local churches in California and also a camp in the Portland Oregon area. We are looking to expand that next year into many more areas. We are adapting the 5-day camp format into a 3-day Worship Infusion Weekend format and inviting churches to consider using this new format for their worship teams.

WWOB Vision

We are presently looking at expanding the ministry through developing more resources (books, videos, podcasts, etc.) and expanding our reach into new countries (i.e. Austria, Macedonia) We are also developing a new Worship Collective with like-minded worship ministers around the world. Our immediate plans and needs are preparing for India and Japan with resources and finances as well as quality video development for the ministry.

Thank you for your prayers that propel us forward into all that God has called us to do. He has been so faithful to guide us and direct us for 18 years now and we are honored to be His ambassadors in so many countries and churches around the world! Thanks for standing with us!
