Last week, Maryl and I had the double pleasure of being with our good friends at Destiny Christian Fellowship (Pastor Joel and Robbin Hjertsted) and then CCLI (with Howard Rachinski, Terry and Shari Iverson and a bunch of our ‘old’ friends) to both minister and share the vision of Worship Without Borders. What a joy to see people that we hadn’t seen in years and to worship alongside them with whole-hearted, full-throated worship. I love seeing God’s people open up to the delight of the Father in His presence.
The flow of worship at Destiny was especially delightful with the worship leader, Angela, leading from the keyboard, skillfully taking us into some of the sweetest and powerful worship that I have experienced in a long time. Way to go, Angela.
And what an incredible spirit of affirmation, faith, joy and love expressed in the devotional time at CCLI. These people really have a hold on the spirit of Jesus, both in their hearty worship and joyful relationships with each other. Thanks, CCLI, for living the message of the songs you protect.
