WWOB Seminars Filling Up in the Fall

We continue to have a great sense of God’s presence and guidance in everything we do. The fall schedule is rapidly filling up and looking to be very exciting as we will go from city to city, facilitating and releasing Jesus’ worship in local churches around the nation. We have had a short season to refresh ourselves, write, be with our family and be more involved in our home church, Living Hope in Aloha, Oregon.

Last week I was honored and delighted to lead worship for our recovery ministry, BreakFree, as well as share with these 150+ great people about the wonderful presence of Jesus. I absolutely love this opportunity to sing with these honest and desparate men and women who are being drawn into the saving arms of Jesus.

Then I had the joy of singing and sharing with the childrens ministry at LHF on Sunday. It was Mission Sunday, so I took them around the world in worship, playing various instruments (didgeridoo, panpipes, shakuhachi, etc.) from many nations I have been to, showing them the consistency of worship: Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!

That night I was honored to play cello with a worship band representing many churches in the Hillsboro area in an county-wide night of worship. Pastor Kevin Benson (Hillsboro Vineyard) led from guitar along with myself and others. It was an incredible time of worship, prayer and the Word with hundreds of worshipers from the area joining their hearts with us as we gave ourselves to Him.

Also this week I got to lead a short and powerful time of worship and prayer with our senior saints, the Forerunners, along with Jordan Weston (the young man who has taken my position as worship pastor at LHF) on the guitar and Dorothy Pietz (a long but faith-building story that needs to be shared someday – an incredible 84 year-old lady from my Nazarene roots) on the organ. What a delight!

We hope to have some news on a seminar in the Portland area this summer that we can invite all the local people to. Stay tuned on that.

God is so good, so faithful, so kind and so gentle in all that He does. His leading is our delight and we are running the race with great faith and excitement as God opens the doors. Thank you so much for your prayers, support, encouragement, notes, emails, etc. It means so much to us to know you are there for us in so many ways. God bless you richly in His presence.
