Friends and Fellow-worshipers,

  • Greetings from Worship Without Borders. Maryl and I thank God for all who are praying for us, encouraging us, writing to us and supporting us. We feel so honored to represent our Lord Jesus throughout the nations of the earth.

  • Earlier this year we had an amazing time in northern India with our great friends from the Assembly of Believers’ Churches and the International School of Worship. What a privilege to teach and release worshipers everywhere in this great nation and to see God touch and change lives by the work of the Holy Spirit. Besides the teaching sessions, we saw many salvations and healings during our services.

  • We also were honored to minister with our great friend Pastor Mike Herron in Scottsdale, Arizona for a Reconciliation Conference. Mike has such a powerful and prophetic voice to the nations and I love the opportunity to minister by his side every chance I get! We will be joining him in Brazil next month!

  • We attended three great conferences in May and June and got refreshed as God met with us and poured His Spirit into our spirits! In July we were thrilled to travel to Virginia, attending a great conference put on by The Fellowship (Dallas, TX). We went into Washington DC on July 4th and experienced first-hand what so many have told us over the years: there is absolutely nothing like the fireworks in DC on our Independence Day! After an amazing display with hundreds of thousands of grateful spectators, we headed to the Metro light-rail and got jammed into a the rear of a car in the subway for an hour. A few minutes in, Maryl suggested to a young man there to lead us in patriotic songs! and he did! For 45 minutes we sang up a storm of patriotic and moving songs with the whole car joining in! A young man had a trumpet in front of me so I told him to play and he joined with us – creating a beautiful tapestry of song and strangers – ending our time with a rousing rendition of Amazing Grace – in 4part harmony and every verse! Seemed like everybody knew the words! What a powerful spontaneous moment to end a spectacular day! The next day we headed south to Chesterfield, VA where we had a worship seminar with our friends at Our Daily Bread Church – Pastors Kevin and Denise Meade! powerful and prophetic moments Saturday night and into Sunday morning. After leading worship and preaching on Sunday morning I gave an altar call and pretty much the whole church came up to receive more of Jesus and a fresh impartation and boldness for worship. At the end, Pastor Denise sang a prophetic song over Maryl and I for more boldness and confidence in our ministry not only to the nations but to remember America too! Great confirmation of where we are at right now! We believe God has called us to the world, including our home nation – the United States of America! And I believe there has never been a greater need for God’s presence, repentance, renewal, restoration and reconciliation to consume our nation!

  • Along with local ministry in the Portland Metro area (especially with our good friends, Pastors Joel and Robbin Hjertstedt at Destiny Christian Fellowship in Happy Valley) we have been honored to minister up in Longview, WA with Pastor Todd Beal @ New and Living Way Church; in Scappoose Foursquare, Pastor Daniel Schmoll; Life Bible Church down in Harrisburg, OR (Pastors Brad and Jen Neuschwander); Calvary Chapel Hillsboro (Pastor Rich Jones); a great night of worship and ministry on Sunday at Azalea-Glen Christian Center (Pastor Dan Fleming); along with an exciting worship seminar down in Springfield, OR with Pastor Steve Miller at New Song Christian Fellowship. Many powerful and prophetic moments in services, teaching and preaching and worshiping Jesus! A special treat was lead worship at our home church, Life Change Christian Center (Pastor Mark Strong) with our dear friends from Jerusalem, Steve and Taffy Carpenter and their kids! What a great blessing that was to us personally and the whole church! Steve and Taffy started a great ministry to the Middle East called Highway 19 – you definitely should check it out and even support them for their crucial work of prayer and worship in the Holy Land.
  • We are looking at many more international options but Brazil is definitely scheduled in November! We will be in Sumaré, a city in the state of São Paulo, for a large worship conference that Mike Herron and I will be speaking and ministering. Maryl and I then will minister in various churches in the city of São Paulo then go down to minister in Curitiba with our great friends Pastors Mike and Terry Piper! After that I will travel down to Lages to be with Pastor Hugo Schmitt and their great church before I fly home. Maryl has to come back early to deliver a baby in Oregon! (babies wait for no one) Btw, Maryl continues with her midwifery in-between ministry opportunities (she is approaching 600 babies delivered!) We will keep you up-to-date on this exciting ministry trip.
  • As we look to celebrate our eighth year as WWOB, we want to thank you for believing in us and God’s work through us in these important days. We can’t do it without you! God has abundantly provided and He’s always on time! It has been an adventure in faith and we would not trade it for anything! We are looking forward to many more years ahead, worshiping our Lord Jesus wherever He takes us around the world!
  • May God’s peace that passes all understanding and His joy unspeakable fill you to overflowing and bring you courage and favor in every situation you find yourself. We love you all, in Him,
